Our desire is to form partnerships with Christian parents who want to provide their children with a Classical College Preparatory education taught from a biblical worldview. A Brazos Christian School education is not only preparation for life; it is life. Students are given a strong foundation in the Scriptures and taught by certified faculty who care about each student. We consider ourselves a Christian community and an extension of the Christian home. Students are challenged to learn and develop in the context of love. Additionally, our environment is safe and conducive for learning.
Our rigorous educational approach is Classical, integrating learning objectives according to the students’ natural development. Students learn not just subject matter, but how to think, reason, and communicate from a biblical worldview. Success for us begins when our students acquire both the tools for and joy of learning. It culminates when they make truth, wisdom, virtue, and a passion for Christ their life-long pursuit.
Application Considerations
Applicants that have at least one Christian parent who is in unity with the school’s mission and Statement of Faith; and who personally evidences a Christian faith and lifestyle. High school applicants also must evidence a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Students whose academic history demonstrates a capability to work at grade level in our program. Report cards and transcripts must indicate average or higher achievement. Applicants must also perform at grade level or above on our standardized diagnostic test.
The character of each applicant is also important. Therefore, a student’s behavioral history must be in harmony with the expectations Brazos Christian requires of its student body.
