Back when Moses was pulling things together for the tabernacle (cf. Exodus 35-36), the people of God were led by the Spirit of God (35:31) to do the work of God (35:35) as they were stirred in their hearts by God (36:2). Each of them was equipped to do something (36:4); and each of them was entrusted to give something (36:3). Faithfully responding to God proved to be “…more than enough…” to do everything God had asked (36:5).
Imagine that! More than enough. To do everything God asks. The key? Each one did what God had prompted him to do.
Each year the BCS Board of Trustees conducts three primary fund-raisers:
- G.O.L.F. Outing for Tuition Assistance (first Monday in November)
- End of Year campaign (last day in December)
- Spring Banquet & Auction
In addition to these three events, gifts can also be given at any time, especially towards two particular projects:
- Thomas Scott Moore Memorial Scholarship Endowment Fund (for tuition assistance)
- Capital Campaign (for future growth)
Whereas we would love to see everybody be able to participate in each of these two projects—or in each of the three aforementioned events, we’re not asking that per se. What we are asking is that you would pray. Pray that God would bring to BCS the people He wants to bring; the skills He wants to bring; and the gifts He wants to bring…Just like in Exodus 35-36.
Let us pray that God would honor Himself by BCS having “…more than enough to do all the work!”
Praying together,
Keith
